An Innovative B2B Comic

Published by iD8 Entertainment, Rise of the Allies is a B2B comic aimed at sparking conversation about toxic work cultures, microaggressions, and the topics of diversity, equity and inclusion… and the role of allies who try to help.

A collaboration between leading human-capital consultancy company Performance Paradigm and iD8 Entertainment, Rise of the Allies leverages the unique format of a comic book to open dialogue around diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Spencer contributed to this innovative project, which has been distributed to some of the world’s most prestigious companies, including Google, Meta, eBay, Delta Airlines, PwC, and Mercedes. His role supported both creative and editorial functions, helping bring the message of diversity, equity, and inclusion to global corporate audiences.

The series follows the superhero Chroma, who uses her powers to fight supernatural forces that manifest as toxic behaviors and microaggressions in the corporate workplace. By framing these realities through the lens of a superhero narrative, Rise of the Allies uses impactful storytelling and art by DC Comics, Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Comics veterans to spark essential conversations in some of the world’s most influential companies.
