Where Soccer Meets Community

Founded in 2007, the New York Sky Blues are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the first — and largest — Manchester City Official Supporters Club branch in North America.

As Social Media Director, Spencer leads digital strategy and content for the New York Sky Blues, helping it grow into one of the most widely recognized Manchester City communities outside of England. He built and manages an organic social media following of over 100,000 across platforms and has helped raise more than $155,000 for charity through raffles, events, and brand collaborations with Puma, Heineken, Carlsberg, and others.

In addition to designing and maintaining the club’s website, Spencer works with partners including the Premier League, Major League Soccer, and New York City FC to organize watch parties, events, and community activations, such as charity soccer games. He also serves as a spokesman for the club, representing the New York Sky Blues in media appearances and press coverage.

Creative Campaigns & Design Work

From matchday posters to creative watch-party graphics, Spencer builds visuals that energize fans and drive engagement across digital platforms. His designs combine club identity with fresh creative concepts and reinforce the New York Sky Blues’ reputation as a soccer nonprofit with a purpose by raising funds, awareness, and participation through every campaign.

Brand Identity & Merchandise

In 2017, Spencer led the rebranding of the New York Sky Blues, including the creation of the club’s name and logo. Collaborating with graphic designer Dan Lynch, he established a visual identity that has become instantly recognizable to supporters and partners.

That identity has since extended to merchandise designed by Spencer, from t-shirts and scarves to hoodies and more, building a strong sense of community, with 100% of proceeds going to charity efforts.

Spencer has represented the New York Sky Blues across TV, radio, and podcasts, serving as both spokesperson and community voice. These appearances highlight the club’s growth and its charitable impact and ability to rally a diverse community around soccer.
